Presently, we are seeking candidates with degrees or seeking degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science. Candidates should have strong academic credentials and/or prior work experience. Candidates should also have strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates need not have prior patent law experience and need not be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Candidates that are willing to prepare for and take the registration exam to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office are eligible for a reimbursement program for this exam.
Corporate Associates with two plus years of corporate experience in start-up and emerging growth company matters, M&A transactions, and/or capital markets/securities law.
Experience with, or affinity for, technology, life sciences, and/or cleantech companies is preferred. Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are required. Possibility to move to San Francisco office down the road.

We are seeking a technology transactions associate with three years direct experience for our growing technology transactions practice. The firm handles complex, innovative technology transactions for some of the most prominent technology, entertainment and life sciences companies in the United States. Our technology transactions group also works closely with our corporate group, which is consistently ranked as one of the top IPO and M&A practices in the United States.
The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, experience in licensing and experience in M&A.
