Minute Entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge David D. Leshner: The Court held a hearing on Defendant's Ex Parte Motion for Sanctions [Dkt. No. 51] on 4/11/2024. With the benefit of the Court's tentative ruling, and for the reasons discussed on the record, the Court ORDERS the parties to meet and confer regarding 1) Defendant's confidentiality designations as to all documents and deposition transcripts filed in support of Plaintiff's motion for class certification; and 2) the appropriate relief for Plaintiff's violation of the stipulated protective order. The parties' meet and confer shall take place in person and shall be completed by not later than April 25, 2024. By not later than May 2, 2024, the parties shall file a Joint Status Report describing any agreements reached as to issues 1 and 2, above, and, if a dispute remains as to either issue, stating the parties' respective positions. The Joint Status Report shall not exceed 7 pages. Also by not later than May 2, 2024, Plaintiff may file a response to Attorney Branson's supplemental declaration [Dkt. No. 58] and the fees described therein, not to exceed 4 pages. The Court understands the parties have initiated the meet and confer process as to Defendant's confidentiality designations for documents and depositions not related to the motion for class certification. To clarify, the foregoing deadlines do not apply to this dispute, which is not presently before the Court. Instead, the parties shall follow the procedures and timelines set forth in the Stipulated Protective Order [Dkt. No. 41] and Judge Leshner's Chambers Rules. The parties may upon mutual agreement extend these deadlines by up to two additional weeks without further leave of Court to accommodate travel, illness and other exigencies.
