MINUTE ORDER re: 32 MOTION for Attorney Fees and Costs filed by Denver Metro Fair Housing Center, Inc. The Court has discovered that it overlooked a motion for attorney's fees filed nearly a year ago and fully briefed as of December 5, 2017. The parties have a dispute concerning the reasonableness of the amount requested by the plaintiff ($53,510). Defendant argues that the amount of time for which fees are requested and the hourly rates are unreasonable. Defendant does not suggest an amount of time or hourly rates that it would deem reasonable but asks the Court to make that determination. Accordingly, the Court directs the parties to set an evidentiary hearing on the necessity and reasonableness of plaintiff's attorney's fees. The Court requests that defendant provide, for purposes of comparison, the fees billed to the defendant in this case including the itemized billing records showing both the time billed and the rates billed.
