MINUTE ORDER. The Court is in receipt of Defendants Eyup Yildirim, Sinan Narin, and Alpkenan Dereci's [54] Consent Motion to Continue the Deadline for Defendants Yildirim, Narin, and A. Dereci to Answer. In its March 18, 2019 Order, the Court instructed Plaintiffs to notify the Court by March 29, 2019 concerning whether or not they intend to file an Amended Complaint. Plaintiffs' Counsel has indicated to Defense Counsel that Plaintiffs intend to seek to amend their Complaint. Currently, Defendants' Answer is due April 1, 2019. In order to avoid unnecessary and duplicative efforts in preparing an Answer to the Complaint and a subsequent Answer to an Amended Complaint, the Court CONTINUES Defendants' deadline for answering the Complaint. MINUTE ORDER. The Court is in receipt of Defendant Eyup Yildirim's [12] Consent Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to Complaint. Defendant requests a 34-day extension of time to respond because his counsel has only recently appeared in the case, a number of Defendants have not yet been served, the issues in the Complaint are complex, and Defendant needs to confer with co-Defendants. Plaintiffs consent to Defendant's Motion. Defendant's Motion is GRANTED. Defendant shall respond to Plaintiffs' Complaint by no later than JULY 16, 2018. However, as Defendant acknowledges, this Motion was not filed in a timely manner. The Order Establishing Procedures in this case states that "[m]otions for extensions of time must be filed at least four (4) business days prior to the first affected deadline." ECF No. 5 at 3.
