For the reasons stated on the record, Plaintiffs' motion in limine 21 is granted in part: the evidence related to C5C2946 will be excluded; the remainder of the motion is taken under advisement. Based on the representations made regarding the scope of the damages being sought by Plaintiffs and that Defendants' counsel does not intend to question Plaintiff 1586F49 about the subsequent incident, Plaintiffs' motion in limine 22 is granted. For the reasons stated on the record, Plaintiff's motion in limine 23 is granted, with the exception that counsel may inquire about Plaintiff 59D0E49 time at the Drexel Residence in order to establish or challenge her relationship to the dog. Plaintiffs' motion in limine 25 is granted. Plaintiffs' motions in limine 28 and 29 are denied, subject to the limitations stated on the record. Defendants' motion in limine 11 is denied as moot. Defendants' motion in limine 12 is granted in part and denied in part: generalized evidence of a code of silence within the police department will not be allowed; only such evidence relating to the actions and conduct of the particular officers in this case will be allowed. As indicated on the record, in order to rule on the objection to Plaintiffs' exhibit 1, the Court requires a proffer of information regarding the dates and circumstances under which the photos and videos were taken. The parties shall meet and confer regarding which photos of the residence will be shown to the jury. The Court will rule on the remaining objections to exhibits and motions in limine by a separate order. By 5:00 p.m. on 6/7/2018, the parties shall deliver to chambers: (1) two hard copy binders of the final set of exhibits, and (2) a final witness list. The parties should also prepare a separate hard copy binder of the final set of exhibits to be used for witnesses during the trial. By 5:00 p.m. on 6/7/2018, the parties shall e-mail a joint proposed jury instruction regarding dog ownership to Proposed_Order_Wood@ilnd.uscourts.gov.
