Chang: In view of the Answer, and in view of Plaintiff's limited education and the medical allegations in the case, the Court will recruit an attorney to represent Plaintiff pro bono; the attorney will be identified in a separate docket entry. Plaintiff is warned that, like any other client who has retained an attorney, he must respect the time and effort of his counsel, and must carefully consider all of the advice provided by counsel. Counsel is under no obligation to pursue claims that do not have a reasonable basis in law or in fact. The status hearing of 03/19/2015 is reset to 04/30/2015 at 8:30 a.m. The parties must file a joint initial status report with the content described in the attached status report requirements at least 3 business days before the initial status hearing. Plaintiff must still file the report even if not all Defendants have been served or have responded to requests to craft a joint report. Additionally, the parties must read Judge Chang's Case Management Procedures on the Court's website; those Procedures are considered standing orders in this case.
