ORDER Adopting Report and Recommendations: Before the court is a report and recommendation (R&R) 68 by the magistrate judge that this case be dismissed for want of prosecution. After being afforded a sufficient opportunity, neither party has offered any objection to the R&R. Accordingly, there being no written objection to the R&R, see 28 U.S.C. ยง 636(b)(1); Fed. R. Civ. P. 72(b); Thomas v. Arn, 474 U.S. 140, 149-50 (1985), and the court having reviewed the record and the R&R, the court accepts the R&R. This case is closed. Signed by the Honorable Frederick J. REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS; The Court gave the plaintiff to 11/30/2018 to respond to the Rule and to propose how the case should proceed, and warned that failing to respond would result in a recommendation that the case be dismissed. Dkt. 67. To date, the plaintiff has not responded to the Rule to Show Cause. Accordingly, it is this Court's Report and Recommendation that this case be dismissed for want of prosecution. Any objection by the plaintiff must be filed by 1/7/2019. Failure to object may constitute a waiver of objections on appeal. See Provident Bank v. Manor Steel Corp., 882 F.2d 258, 260 (7th Cir. 1989). (See attachment for full detail.) Signed by the Honorable Iain D. Johnston on 12/17/2018:Mailed notice(yxp, )

MINUTE entry before the Honorable Iain D. Johnston: The Court recently held a telephonic status with Mr. 8A0D292, during which Mr. 8A0D292 yelled and was otherwise non-communicative with the Court. The Court repeatedly attempted to engage Mr. 8A0D292 to discuss his case, but was unable to do so. Eventually, Mr. 8A0D292 said he was done and dropped the phone. The Court was able to hear Mr. 8A0D292 leave the room. As Mr. 8A0D292 does not appear to want to continue to prosecute his case, the Court issues this Rule to Show Cause why Mr. 8A0D292 case should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute. Mr. 8A0D292 is given until November 30, 2018 to notify the Court that he would still like to proceed with his case and if so, how he plans on proceeding. If the Court does not receive a response to the Rule, or if the response is inadequate or if Mr. 8A0D292 indicates that he does not want to proceed with his case, the Court will enter a Report and Recommendation that his case be dismissed for want of prosecution under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41.Mailed notice (yxp, )
