Order: On February 17, 2004, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missourientered an order staying one of the cases, Phillips v. Union Pacific Railroad Company, CaseNo. 03-4237-CV-CNKL, pending a ruling by the MDL Panel. On March 9, 2004, the U.S.District Court for the District of Nebraska issued a similar order staying the Standridge case,including the motion for class certification pending in that case. This court agrees that a stayof this case pending the MDL Panel's ruling is the appropriate course. Plaintiff's motion forstay (#61) is granted, and this case is stayed pending a ruling from the MDL Panel regardingcentralization of related cases.
