Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Kiyo A. Matsumoto:Show Cause Hearing held on 12/31/2008. Defendant appeared with Peter Kirchheimer, Esq. The government appeared by Melissa Marrus, Esq. and Nicholas A. Pilgrim, Esq. appeared by phone. As set forth in the attached order, the court orders that the extradition of Petitioner Momo Pajkanovic be stayed pending resolution of the petition for a writ of habeas corpus by the Middle District of Florida and directs the United States Marshals to transport Petitioner back to the Middle District of Florida as soon as practicable. Ms. Marrus shall serve a copy of this Order on the appropriate federal officials and advise the court and Petitioner's counsel when Petitioner arrives in the Middle District of Florida so that the court may transfer Petitioner's habeas corpus petition to that district.
