ORDER granting 7 Motion for Extension of Time to File Notice of Appeal. On April 14, 2016, the Court dismissed Plaintiff's complaint as frivolous. See 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e)(2)(B)(i). On May 19, 2016, the Court received from Plaintiff a motion for an extension of time to file a notice of appeal (ECF doc. # 7). Plaintiff's motion for an extension to file a late notice of appeal is granted. Plaintiff asserts that she is homeless and did not receive the Court's order in time to file a timely notice of appeal. In light of Plaintiff's pro se status, the Court grants Plaintiff leave to file a late notice of appeal. See Fed. R. App. P. 4(a)(5). The Court certifies, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915(a)(3), that any appeal from this order would not be taken in good faith, and therefore in forma pauperis status is denied for the purpose of an appeal. See Coppedge v. United States, 369 U.S. 438, 444-45 (1962). (Signed by Judge Loretta A. Preska on 5/25/2016) (sac)
