STIPULATION AND ORDER OF SETTLEMENT AND RELEASE BETWEEN UNITED STATES AND RELATORS: NOW, THEREFORE, in reliance on the representations contained herein and in consideration of the mutual promises, covenants, and obligations in this Relators Settlement Stipulation, and for good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the Parties agree as follows: Contingent upon receipt by the United States of the Settlement Amount, and within a reasonable time period thereafter, the United States will pay: (a) $8,531,266.91 plus applicable interest (the "Salix I Relators' Share") to the Salix I Relators by electronic funds transfer; and (b) $309,424.19 plus applicable interest (the "Salix II Relator's Share") to the Salix II Relator by electronic funds transfer. STIPULATION AND ORDER OF SETTLEMENT AND DISMISSAL: NOW, THEREFORE, upon the Parties' agreement, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that: The Parties agree that this Court has subject matter jurisdiction over this action and consent to this Court's exercise of personal jurisdiction over each of them. Salix admits, acknowledges, and accepts responsibility for the following conduct (As further set forth in this Order.) Salix shall pay the Government $46,529,953.20 within fourteen (14) business days of the Effective Date (defined below in Paragraph 30), plus interest, which shall be compounded annually at a rate of 1.75% accruing from March 29, 2016, to the date of payment ("Settlement Amount").
