ORDER: Before the court is the pro se plaintiff's letter dated January 20, 2016. Although the plaintiff has attempted to describe "what is currently going on with the case," it is not clear whether he is seeking any relief with respect to discovery. Nor is it clear whether the plaintiff has discussed the issues raised in the letter with defense counsel. Accordingly, to the extent the plaintiff wishes to submit a discovery application to the court, he is directed to do so in a three page letter application pursuant to Local Civil Rule 37.3. However, prior to submitting the letter, the plaintiff must first attempt, in good faith, to resolve any disputes with counsel for the defendants. The parties are advised the any future discovery applications should be addressed to the undersigned. Ordered by Magistrate Judge Arlene R. Lindsay on 2/1/2017. c/ecf, c/m to pltf (Miller, Dina) Modified on 2/2/2017 to indicate that a copy has been mailed to the pltf (Imrie, Robert).

ORDER: The Court's records reflect that the complaint in this action was filed on May 27, 2016. Accordingly, if service is not made upon defendants by August 25, 2016, or if plaintiff fails to show good cause why such service has not been effected, this action will be dismissed without prejudice. Plaintiff is to provide a copy of this Order to the defendants along with the summonses and complaint, and shall file proof of service with the Court. Plaintiff is required to advise the Clerk of Court of any change of address. Failure to keep the Court informed of plaintiffs current address means the Court will not know where to contact plaintiff and may result in dismissal of the case. So Ordered by Judge Joan M.
