It has affected everyone. When the rich and corporations are allowed to make virtually unlimited donations to a politician or a campaign through the user of Super PACS, our democratic system is violated and skewed towards the wants and needs of the elites. Power in government should not reside in how much wealth one has acquired, but rather, everyone should have an equal voice.

    City, state and federal government position salaries ought to be seriously reviewed as well. This may sound a bit socialist but government jobs should not be a lifelong career. How about we start as a volunteer with a cost of living stipend?
